Synth rigging on Tiki38
Hi all, I have a T38 with 1x19SS standing rigging and recently had the aft mast come down due to a dodgy SS fitting failure, and I am very interested in the synthetic options available. I know there has been some great info posted about Dynex Dux rigging on a Tiki26. But I'm just wondering if anyone has had the "experience" of time with synth rigging on the larger bluewater boats???

Actually, a spent a little more time googling, and answered my own question... But here's another.. can anyone tell me what the design rig loading for the Tiki38 is? I am trying to work out which diameter Dynex Dux to order. Thanks

Re: Synth rigging on Tiki38
Look up the tiki 38's ss rigging size and then look up its strength, both working loads and breaking loads. If you then look up the loads for comparably sized dyneema/dux, or smaller, you will have your answers. ;)

Rigging on Tara my 38 Tiki

I am having a hard time getting the line (rope) part of stay tie enough.  The mast is pulled to one side or the other. I was thinking to going to a turn buckle and removing the line  part of the stay? Any ideas about ways to tighten the line part or eliminating it. Thanks
