More On-water Maintenance
Seeing Rory's Cookie up in the air inspired me to post this shot of my aft beam blocks renewal: The distance was too short to use my handy billy, so I had to make do with just a single block for the cockpit: fortunately, it's not too heavy! I only dropped one of the seats into the water while test-fitting the height of the blocks ;)

Re: More On-water Maintenance
Alas, I too had beam woes recently :o .................... Unfortunately as my beams are bolted within inward sloping cabin sides, I can't remove separate beams while afloat so had to do the repair all in place. I was gutted to find the rot but glad I found it before I head off to UK and leave Cookie tied up in Belize for the next 4 months. In this humidity rot spreads fast. Happy sailing, building and fixing all :P Rory
