Rudder damage/solutions

Hi, I am the very proud owner of a Tiki 31 Espace. She is GRP foam sandwich and has the standard design rudders of ply glassed over and hung on pintals, connected to hydraulic steering.
My problem is that I moor on a drying fore and aft mooring, the bows are aflout before the sterns and due to tidal races this has caused the pintals to be snapped clean off and the rudders damaged by being continually pushed into the sand.
I want to redesign the rudders to lift as in a kick up type system.
Has anyone done this? if so what problems did you encounter? and if possble what design did you use
Thanks for reading
David
