I am building a tiki 26 in minneapolis and nearing the point of attaching the decks. before I do I would like to know what other builders have used for anchoring/mooring. for docking I would guess that cleats at the top of the crossbeams are adaquate. for anchoring there is the standard cleat on the fore/aft decks with appropriate backing above and below. I am also considering a bridle attached to u bolts/padeyes placed thru the stem in a horizontal plane (10 degree down forward ? ) where the stem is at its widest and deepest just below the deck. I would apprieciate any thoughts and ideas on the subject.
