From Fort Meyers to Islamorada to a NEW VENUE on the Gulf Coast, the 2020 Hui Wharram will be held at the Pirate’s Cove Marina near the Florida/Alabama state line. Pirates Cove Marina and Restaurant invites the Wharram fleet to tie up along the docks for easy ship-to-shore access, viewing, sailing, and debauchery.
What’s A Hui?
A "Hui Wharram" or "Hui-o-waa-Kaulua-Wharram" (Hawaiian) is a gathering of Wharram vessels but any type of boat is welcome. Come even if you don't have a boat. See boats, tour boats, talk boats, tell tall tales somehow related to boats (may contain some element of truth) - enjoy the fellowship of merry men and mermaids. Compare notes, review what's for sale, and celebrate new builds. Attendance is FREE! 2020 dates are May 15-17, at the Pirate’s Cove Marina near the Florida/Alabama state line.

Food
Pirates Cove Restaurant (on the marina) is famous for signature savory burgers, vast toppings from artichoke hearts to sundried tomatoes, spectacular pizza made with homemade dough, sandwiches, and salads. Breakfast options include locally-smoked sausage. ***BUSHWACKERS***
Lodging
In addition to boat owner shipboard lodging, Pirates Cove Marina has a waterfront campground available for tent/van campers. Our very own Wharramite Shaun West has made this campground his year-round home for the last several years. Local hotels are five to ten miles away and include Towne Place Suites by Marriot (4.7 mi), Day’s Inn & Suites (5.2 mi), Quality Inn (5.6 mi), Comfort Inn & Suites (5.8 mi), Econo Lodge (5.8 mi), Home 2 Suites (5.8 mi), Holiday Inn (6.2 mi), and Hampton Inn (6.2 mi). There are also luxury beach resorts on Perdido Beach and Orange Beach ten miles away.
