Hello ,
I have been looking to build a Pahi either a 31 or a 42 but I would like to ask is a Pahi can it be Wingsail schooner rigged ?
I really like the achooner rig having cut my teeth of a 60 restorred 1940 sailing fishing boat rigged as a schooner and the fact that a lower rig on a cat is safer.
thank you :o)
and fair winds and good sailing to you all
Regards
Darren

Says WHO ???
Mine is and I sailed it from Cape Town, South Africa to Nosy Be, Madagascar through 4 heavy storms. I have since saile it here (4 years) and set all sails single handed. I leanthened my both masts to 13 meter as we have most of the time lighter winds. That makes sail area slightly larger. I have 110 degree tack angle - under 4.5 knots I jybe instead of tacking. Many times I use a narrow cut spinaker and get 8 knots in 15 kt wind. mostly I use it like an asymetrical (possible with the narrow cut).
I am happy with it
