Anyone had their Tiki struck by lightning before??
Here in Belize we get some awesome kaboomers going off all around us at this time of year. :o I do the regular chain round the mast trick and dangled into the sea, but was wondering if anyone has real 1st hand info on a strike and what happened - damage etc?

There was a write up in PBO a while back by Richard Woods on the lightening strike he had when sailing in Pamlico Sound (just off the Gulf stream). It was a year or 2 ago so I can not remember the details but it fried all the electrics and caused a fair bit of other damage.
