Im trying to get a water line on my Tiki 26 using a waterlevel but the bow and stern measurements dont line up.Is this line straight as it looks pretty straight on the Tiki,s I look at online or should I just eyeball the line..Thanks Jim

The boat would have to be sitting at its waterline "level" in order for the water level to work. If you have the measurements correct at the aft and fore stems, you can run a string or masking tape between them.

Hey Jim, When I marked the water line on my tiki 31 I put a spirit level on the bunks which I presumed would ensure that the boat was "sitting on its water line. It wasn't, but was close enough. I then used a dumpy level, (but a water level would work fine) to mark it out resetting it on each hull. But, what i found to be best and without mistake the most accurate was; to get your water line "close enough" and then when the boat was in the water to mark your actual true water line with a pencil every 2 foot or so. Run some masking tape along these and there is your true water line. Beach your boat, wait for the tide to go out, and apply your anti foul to the top section that was previously unpainted. Cant go wrong. Steve
