HELLO ALL WHARRAM OWNERS

Pay attention now, this is terribly important. We were on the verge of GIVING UP on our soft wing sails because we could not take reefs easy enough or furl easy enough. We thought of cutting off the luff pocket and putting rope lacings to the mast. It was drastic. We were terribly sad and upset.

WELL, ALL YOU GOTTA DO IS TAKE THE HALYARDS OUTA THE @#$%& LUFF POCKET!!! Go down to your Tiki boats NOW and just do that! The sails will then slip up and down and you can even get 'em up without using a winch, and gravity brings the gaff down slick and quick. NO MORE STRUGGLE!!! HANNEKE; PLEASE CHANGE THE PLANS!

We are overjoyed to be able to keep our beautiful and efficent, Jeckells made, Wharram soft wing sails just as they are with the extra heavy, indestructable fabric.

Nev made beautiful booms for them last year so we will simply put full lazy jacks on the foremain and improve the lazy jacks on the main and celebrate. Christmas has never been so good!

The moral of the story is to do NOTHING to correct a problem because eventually you may learn that ALMOST nothing is needed to be done. Some little trick with a rope usually is all it takes.

This old grandmother now believes she can soon single hand a 46 foot Wharram! Nev is putting in a supply of bon bons...

Love, Ann and Nev

Peace Four
